Get the newer card. 6800xt still experiences some driver issues, is less power efficient, doesn’t have the av1 encoding if you have any interest in steaming, doesn’t ray trace as well, and runs hotter.
The 6800xt is fantastic card but the 7000 series just builds on that foundation while being more efficient. Either card is a win but newer is better this go around unless you can get a hefty discount on the 6800xt.
